DPS Ranchi has once again proven its academic excellence as its young mathematicians delivered an outstanding performance in the prestigious American Mathematics Olympiad (AMO) 2025, organised by the Singapore International Math Contest Center (SIMCC) in collaboration with Southern Illinois University (SIU). This international online competition, based on the US Common Core Standards, attracts talented students from across the globe.
In a remarkable achievement, Sibtain Raza, a student of Class II, secured a perfect score of 100/100, earning Global Rank 01, Country Rank 01, and State Rank 01. His exceptional performance at such a young age stands as a testament to his analytical ability, dedication, and passion for mathematics.
Along with him, several other students from DPS Ranchi also qualified in this esteemed Olympiad, showcasing the school’s strong foundation in mathematical learning. The qualifiers include, Swaransh Kumar, Ishan Kumar Jha, Anaw Raj, Advaith Arun, Ahaan Thakur, Abhigya Ranjan, Pawni Raj, Tanisha Raj, and Matsya Thakur.
Principal Dr. Jaya Chauhan congratulated the achievers and said, “I am immensely proud of our students for their outstanding performance in the American Mathematics Olympiad. It is worth mentioning that AMO was organised for the first time at DPS Ranchi, and this remarkable success has been achieved under the able guidance and encouragement of Principal Dr. Jaya Chauhan, whose vision continues to inspire students towards global academic excellence.
