DPS Ranchi has once again proven its academic excellence as its young mathematicians delivered an outstanding performance in the prestigious American Mathematics Olympiad (AMO) 2025, organised by the Singapore International Math Contest Center (SIMCC) in collaboration with Southern Illinois University (SIU). This international online competition, based on the US Common Core Standards, attracts talented students from across the globe.

In a remarkable achievement, Sibtain Raza, a student of Class II, secured a perfect score of 100/100, earning Global Rank 01, Country Rank 01, and State Rank 01. His exceptional performance at such a young age stands as a testament to his analytical ability, dedication, and passion for mathematics.

Along with him, several other students from DPS Ranchi also qualified in this esteemed Olympiad, showcasing the school’s strong foundation in mathematical learning. The qualifiers include, Swaransh Kumar, Ishan Kumar Jha, Anaw Raj, Advaith Arun, Ahaan Thakur, Abhigya Ranjan, Pawni Raj, Tanisha Raj, and Matsya Thakur.

At the Inaugural Function of the 45th INCA International Congress held on 21st November 2025 at the Central University of South Bihar, Gaya, the National Toppers of the INCA National Map Quiz 2025 from DPS Ranchi were felicitated for their exceptional achievement. The prestigious event, organised by the Indian National Cartographic Association (INCA).

The team from DPS Ranchi—comprising Dhairya Barnwal (Class X ‘G’), Aditya Yashashwi Singh (Class X ‘H’), and Yatharth Agarwal (Class VIII ‘H’)—secured the top position at the national level, making their school and state proud. Their remarkable accomplishment was acknowledged on stage by Dr. Sunil Kumar Barnwal, IAS, Chief Executive Officer, National Health Authority, who felicitated the young achievers for their outstanding knowledge, precision, and excellence in map interpretation skills.

DPS Ranchi takes immense pride in its distinguished alumnus, Pranay Roy, who served as a judge at the NASA International Space Apps Challenge held in Mountain View, organised at the NASA Ames Research Center, Silicon Valley, California. The NASA Space Apps Challenge, recognised as the world’s largest annual global hackathon, brings together innovators, technologists, designers, and students from more than 150 countries to solve real-world challenges using NASA’s open data. As a software engineer with exceptional expertise, Pranay Roy was selected to evaluate innovative projects.

The prestigious event witnessed thousands of participants developing solutions for climate resilience, space exploration, disaster management, and future missions. Judges like Pranay assessed teams on creativity, scientific accuracy, impact potential, and technical implementation. His contribution on an international platform reflects not only his professional excellence but also the strong academic foundation built at DPS Ranchi, inspiring current students to pursue careers of global significance.

DPS Ranchi Students Shine in Singapore Math Challenge

In a remarkable achievement, students of Delhi Public School, Ranchi have brought laurels to the school by excelling in the prestigious Singapore Math Challenge. Out of 34 participants from the school, 21 students successfully qualified, showcasing their strong analytical and problem-solving skills. The proud winners include 11 Gold, 5 Silver, 2 Bronze, 1 Honorable Mention, and 2 Certificates of Participation, reflecting the students’ commendable grasp of mathematical concepts and logical reasoning.

The Singapore Math Challenge is a new international mathematics assessment designed for students from K2 to Grade 11/12, written by top educators from Singapore’s Ministry of Education (MOE). It is aimed at providing a global standard to assess students’ mathematical abilities while offering valuable formative and summative feedback to teachers and parents. Singapore Math, which is taught in over 70 countries worldwide, emphasizes conceptual understanding and real-world application of mathematics.

In a momentous achievement, students of Delhi Public School (DPS), Ranchi have brought laurels to the institution by excelling at the prestigious Indian National Cartographic Association (INCA) National Map Quiz 2025. DPS Ranchi's Shivani Singh Shines Nationally, Only Jharkhand Winner in CBSE Budding Authors Contest

DPS Ranchi, has added another feather to its cap as Shivani Singh (Class X), a talented student of the school, emerged as one of the 13 winning authors in the prestigious Budding Authors Contest organized by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

Out of thousands of entries submitted by students across India, only 13 outstanding stories were selected for publication. Shivani’s story, titled "पंख उड़ान के", secured a coveted place among them and has been officially published as an EBook on the CBSE Academic website under the title "अभिव्यंजना".

Notably, Shivani is the only student from the entire state of Jharkhand to achieve this distinction, bringing pride and recognition to DPS Ranchi and the region.
