DPS Ranchi Students Shine in 37th Aryabhatta Mathematics Competition

Students of DPS Ranchi have brought laurels to the school by securing outstanding positions in the 37th Aryabhatta Mathematics Competition, organised by Delhi Public School, Sector 4, Bokaro. The competition provided students an opportunity to demonstrate their mathematical aptitude, logical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Seven students of DPS Ranchi have been selected for the Prize Distribution Function scheduled to be held at DPS, Sector 4, Bokaro. The achievers and their cash prizes are: Saket Singh (Class V) – ₹11,000; Md Izan Tousif (Class V) – ₹8,000; Aarav Gupta (Class V) – ₹6,000; Shlok Singh (Class VIII) – ₹3,000; Ayush Gorain (Class XI) – ₹8,000; Yashmit Choudhary (Class XI) – ₹6,000; and Vibhash Kumar Ojha (Class XI) – ₹3,000. The seven students have collectively bagged a cash prize of ₹45,000. In addition, 44 other qualified students—5 from the Junior Group, 35 from the Middle Group and 4 from the Senior Group were felicitated with the Merit Certificate.

DPS Ranchi Teams Qualify for National Level of INCA Map Quiz 2026

Bringing another moment of pride to the school, two teams from Delhi Public School Ranchi have successfully qualified for Phase II, the National Level, of the Indian National Cartographic Association (INCA) Map Quiz 2026. The teams secured their place through their commendable performance in the Preliminary (Phase I) – State Level of the INCA National Map Quiz 2026. The achievement reflects the students’ strong knowledge of geography, maps, spatial awareness, cartographic concepts and analytical skills, while also highlighting their dedication and teamwork.

Representing DPS Ranchi, Group 1 comprises Ameya Devarshi, Aasutosh Singh and Shubh, while Group 2 comprises Atulya Pandey, Arghya Bhardwaj and Dhruv Jaiswal. Their qualification for the national level is a significant accomplishment and demonstrates the school’s endeavour to provide students with opportunities to participate in intellectually stimulating competitions and excel beyond the classroom. The students’ success has brought immense pride to the entire DPS Ranchi fraternity.

In the Senior Group, Ansruta Asavari Mandal (Class XI) emerged as the top achiever with a cash prize of ₹8000, followed by Pragyan Ranjan (Class XI) securing ₹6000. Dhairya Singh (Class XI), Sanskar Roy (Class XI) and Aditya Pratap (Class XI) also performed commendably, bagging cash prizes of ₹3000, ₹3000 and ₹2000 respectively.

In the Junior Group, Rudra Aditya Anand (Class V) stood out with his performance and was awarded a cash prize of ₹2000.

DPS Ranchi, has added another feather to its cap as Shivani Singh (Class X), a talented student of the school, emerged as one of the 13 winning authors in the prestigious Budding Authors Contest organized by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

Out of thousands of entries submitted by students across India, only 13 outstanding stories were selected for publication. Shivani’s story, titled "पंख उड़ान के", secured a coveted place among them and has been officially published as an EBook on the CBSE Academic website under the title "अभिव्यंजना".

Notably, Shivani is the only student from the entire state of Jharkhand to achieve this distinction, bringing pride and recognition to DPS Ranchi and the region.
