• Five students of Delhi Public School, Ranchi have qualified Inter. DPS Science and Maths Olympiad held at DPS Science and Maths Olympiad held at DPS, NOIDA on January 10, 2010 and have brought lawels to the school. There students are Adarsh Kumar Singh, Anurag Mohanty, Sthitapragya Parida, Anupam Singh and Namran Pan.  
  
   

• Seven Students of the school - Prateek Mishra, Rajashi Khan, Utkarsh Anand, Nimisha Vatsava, Kislay, Anish Bagga and Manish Raj have qualified the preliminary round of National Talent Search Examination (NTSE).

The School Bagged Various Awards, Trophies, High Recognitions at State and National Level

• Three students qualified for NTSE scholarship in this year. Master Sthita Prgyan Parida and Master Mayank Gupta of class IX are topper of Jharkhand scoring 185 marks each.

• In National Cyber Olympiad, Master Mayank Kumar of class IV got 1^st rank and awarded Lap Top in National Level.

• In Inter DPS National Level Badminton Tournament, Delhi Public School Ranchi lifted Championship trophy which was awarded to our students by Shri Ashok Chandra, Chairman DPS Society in July 2009.

• In Inter DPS Vocal Music Competition East Zone, our team stood 3^rd and in Solo Dance bagged 1^st position.

• Our two speakers were awarded 1^st position in favour and against the motion in Inter School English Debate Competition conducted by Indian Institute of Metals  (IIM) in July 2009.

• In Inter School Mega Competitions, conducted by Ramkrishna Mission Ranchi, our school lifted Winner Trophy Bagging various prizes/ positions in different events of various groups.

• Our two brilliant students stood 2^nd in Inter School quiz Competition, conduced by PLEKTRON in August 2009.

• On spot Painting Competition, organized by Union Club of Ranchi in August 2009, the best performance award was given to our students.

• In Unified Cyber Olympiad of Middle group: Master Utkarsh Anand bagged 2^nd rank at National Level and received Gold Medal, cash prize of Rs. 5000/- and best performance award.

In SOF, one boy Sthita Pragyan Parida got 15^th rank and received Rs. 2100/- Cash Award and 48 students received cash award of Rs. 500/- each.

• Scholar batch will be awarded from class V onwards to encourage the students in their studies. The following criteria will be followed.

• Students of classes V to XII, 80% and above marks in all subjects in the final report.

•  A student who has entered scholar badge for three consecutive years will be awarded Blue Blazer.

• Those who will leave the school are not eligible for scholar badge, blazer and tie.

Classes - III to V

• Certificates of Merit in Hindi, English, Maths, General Sciences, Social Studies, Art and General Knowledge.

Classes - VI to XII

• Prize will be awarded to students securing the highest marks in a particular subject.

• Prize will be awarded to students securing the highest aggregate in all sections.

• Prize will be awarded to students securing cent per cent attendance.
