WELCOME 2010

As Dec 23, was the last working day of the year for the students of DPS Ranchi The Cultural Extravaganza named WELCOME 2010 was organized at DPS, Ranchi on Dec 23, 2009. It began with an entreaty wherein students prayed to the Almighty to grant peace and harmony to all. A Pre-Christmas gathering was organized with the entire ambience reverberating with Christmas Carol.
 

Science, Social Science, Math, Literature and Craft Exhibition

Delhi Public School, Ranchi organized Science, Social Science, Math, Literature and Craft Exhibition on the school premises on Dec.22, 2009 in which around 200 exhibits based on latest technological developments were displayed.
 

Interactive Session by Prof. Dr. D. K. Das

Prof. Dr. D.K. Das from University of Alaska, Fairbanks, USA addressed the students in an Interactive Session organized by Delhi Public School, Ranchi on Dec 15, 2009 in its multipurpose hall to motivate the students for their future prospects.
 

Teacher’s Orientation Programme

Teacher’s Orientation Programmewas organized at Delhi Public School Ranchi, on Dec 12, 2009 in which Prof. Dr. Paul Gunashekar presently working as English Language Teaching [ELT] consultant to Oxford University Press discussed about different aspects of English language and grammatical skills. This workshop on ELT was attended by around 150 teachers of different schools from different district of Jharkhand.
 

Teacher’s Day

The Teacher’s Day was celebrated in a dignified manner in the presence of all the top dignitaries of different units of SAIL i.e. Shri N.K Jha, ED I/C, RDCIS, Shri N. Neogi, ED Safety, SAIL, Shri A.S Mathur ED, CET SAIL, Sri S.P. Patanaik ED MTI, SAIL, Dr. D. Mukherjee ED RDCIS, Sri. R.K. Vijayavergia, Pro. Vice Chairman, DPS Ranchi, the members of LMC and other distinguished guests.
