Tricolour Unfurled at DPS Ranchi : Students and staff of Delhi Public School Ranchi paid a tribute to the nation on 15^th August 2010. The school celebrated the 64^th Independence Day with great patriotic feelings and enthusiasm. The Principal Mr. J. Mohanty hoisted the flag amidst the echoes of the national anthem sung by all the students teachers and the parents present On this occasion the Principal in his speech emphasized on the need of hard work and determination to contribute in the development of the nation. Students presented a poem of Dinkar in the form of a song and a few dance performances on patriotic numbers also marked the occasion. Recitation of poems by the students filled everyone's heart with patriotism. There was a call for today's generation to take the pledge to serve the country with honesty sincerity and by abiding the true Indian values so that the hard-won freedom does not go in vain.
