Tripali of DPS secures 1st position in the State in WSO
Children of Delhi Public School Ranchi have once again proved their mettle with their brilliant performance in
World Social Science Olympiad. Tripali Tah of class VIII secured the first position in the state and was awarded a cash prize of
Rs 5000/- and a gold medal. Children of
class IV to Xtook this exam and thirteen children from the cradle have come out with flying colours with
Vishakha Sinha, Shantanu Kumar Sonal, Kumar Divyang and Sameer Rastogisecuring the second position in the state. This exam is conducted by World Olympiad Foundation. They have been awarded cash prize, silver and gold medal.
Shambhavi Prabha, Abhishek Kumar Singh, Aknav Jha, Kanishk Sakarwar, Arnad Sinha, Ananya Mishra, Ishita Raj, Pratyush Anand, Dhriti Barnwal and Tanmayhave also shown their excellence.
Dr. Ram Singh Principal DPS Ranchi congratulated the students for their excellent results and encouraged them to be a part of such types of exams in future. He strongly feels that these exams are extremely beneficial for children to shape their career in future.
Brilliant Performance of DPS Ranchi in IMO, NSO & NCO
Science Olympiad Foundation is the largest organizer of Olympiad exams in the world and over 27000 schools from 16 countries appear in this exam.
300 children from Delhi Public School Ranchi have performed exceptionally well in
IMO, NSO & NCO (International Mathematics Olympiad, National Science Olympiad, National Cyber Olympiad).
Rohit Raj of Class IV secured the third position in the state and 3rd rank at the International level. Abdullah Rahmani of class IV secured the 4th position in the state and at the International level as well.

Brilliant Performance of DPS Ranchi in R.M.O.
Six students of
Delhi Public School, Ranchi exhibited their brilliant mathematical acumen and made the school proud by bagging the
6th, 7th and 12th position in the state. Regional Mathematics Olympiad was held on
06/12/2015 under the aegis of
National Board of Higher Mathematics Department of Atomic Energy,Govt. of India, in which
Anirudh Anik Ojhasecured the 6th position,
Rayyan Shahid – 7th position,
Urvashi Dhar and
Aakarsh Kumar Singh – 12th position and
Ayush Kumar and Nitin Prasad together secured the 13th position.Dr. Ram Singh, Principal DPS Ranchi congratulated the students and spoke to them about various new techniques in the field of mathematics which would help them to hove their mathematical skills and excel in life.
Eight students of DPS Ranchi qualify in KVPY
It was indeed a moment of immense jubilation as 8 students of Delhi Public School Ranchi qualified in KVPY (Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana)- they are Ayush Kumar, Anirudh Anil Ojha, Nishant Singh Chauhan, Shubham Saha, Animesh Singh Chauhan, Urvashi Dhar, Tiyasha Mitra and Snehan.
The Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) is an on-going National Program of Fellowship in Basic Sciences, initiated and funded by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, to attract exceptionally highly motivated students for pursuing basic science courses and research career in science.
The objective of the program is to identify students with talent and aptitude for research; help them realize their academic potential; encourage them to take up research careers in Science, and ensure the growth of the best scientific minds for research and development in the country.
Dr. Ram Singh, Principal, DPS Ranchi congratulated the students and said that last year it was 4 students qualified and this year we have 8 students. It was also stated by him that he will provide the children with all the latest techniques and facilities so that we have many more students in this category in the years to come.
Riti Raj of DPS Ranchi Awarded at the National Level
Riti Raj of Class V of Delhi Public School, Ranchireceived the second prize at the National level in a painting competition organized by Ministry of Power. He has
secured the 1st position at the state level by displaying his skill with paint brushes to paint a picture on energy given to Riti.
