Present Principal of DPS Ranchi Mr. J. Mohanty was donned with the most coveted and prestigious Award “National Award to Teacher – 2004” by His Excellency Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, President of India on 5^th September 2005, Teachers Day at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi, during his that he was Principal of DPS Vindhyanagar.

He got opportunity to interact with Dr. Manmohan Singh, H’ble Prime Minister of India and Sri Arjun Singh, Union Cabinet Minister HRD, Govt. of India on 5^th September 2005.

He briefed the development of the progressive school to these eminent personalities of the world.
