We, at DPS, like our
students to be creative as creativity often implies
merely turning up what is already there. Creative minds
have always been known to survive any kind of
shortcomings and adversities. We strive to sustain and
reflect the hidden talents of our students. The aim is
to present a true image of all spheres of humanity and
to bring out exemplary creativity of our students. |

There are six houses in the school- Chenab, Ganges,
Jhelum, Ravi and Satluj. Every student on admission is
placed in one of these houses. Each house is headed by
one boy and one girl known as house captains. Each house
is headed by one boy and one girl known as House
Captains. A member of staff assisted by several other
teachers (tutor) act as the house warden. Points are
awarded to students throughout the year for extra
curricular activities. At the end of the year two houses
gaining the highest number of points are awarded running
trophies. Inter house competitions are organized in
Sports, Debate, Elocution, Quiz and Music. |
